Robert Kinsaul, DMD
We are proud to announce that Dr. Kinsaul is the recipient of the 2008 American Dental Association Humanitarian Award. This was only the second award of this nature to given by this national professional body. This honor was awarded Dr. Kinsaul for providing unselfish leadership in dentistry and dedicating time and skills to improve patients' dental health at home and abroad. He has made 62 missions to 26 countries all over the world responding to natural disasters, tsunamis, earthquakes, flooding, and areas where there was little or no availability of treatment. His travels have taken him to Europe, Africa, Asia, India, North and South America. All the various trips have one thing in common, spreading the love of Christ is the primary goal.
Dr. Kinsaul, a native of Phenix City, graduated from Auburn University and earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry. Dr. Kinsaul has practiced general dentistry in Phenix City since 1974. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Alabama Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Endodontic Society, the Christian Medical/Dental Association and the Christian Dental Society. He serves on the Advisory Boards of World Dental Relief, International Healthcare Network, and Healthcare Ministries. He has completed extensive continuing education earning a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and a Mastership in American Endodontic Society. Dr. Kinsaul’s primary hobby is traveling with various church and Christian organizations to deprived areas of the world to provide dental treatment and to assist missionaries in spreading the gospel. While at home he enjoys the out of doors, hiking, fishing and his old Mustang. Dr. Kinsaul and his wife Sheila live on a farm in Russell County. They have four children (Katherine, Nathan, Cynthia and Caleb) three grandsons (Joshua, Noah and Tucker) and four grand daughters (Jenna, Emma, Maddie, and Myra Kate).
Jocelyn Galang-Ray, D.D.S.
Dr. Jocelyn Galang-Ray (Dr. Jo) was born in the Philippines and graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Centro Escolar University, Manila, Philippines in March of 1985. In 1988, after completing a tour of duty in the U.S. Army, she worked for Dr. Kinsaul for ten years. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific, San Francisco, California, June, 2001. Dr. Ray is the wife of Michael T. Ray of Cataula. She has four children, Carlos, Joseph, Brandi and Shane. Dr. Kinsaul highly commends Dr. Ray's outstanding dental skills. She has exceptional abilities in cosmetic dentistry and enjoys working with children. Patients and co-workers both appreciate Dr. Ray's kind and gentle personality and especially her great sense of humor.
Reuben Moyana, DMD
Dr. Moyana earned a Bachelor of Science at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and graduated from The UAB School of Dentistry in 2004. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Alabama Dental Association and the District Dental Society. Dr. Moyana makes it his priority to always provide his patients with the highest quality dental care and to keep his skills up-to date through participation in continuing education courses. In addition to his superior dental skills, patients and staff are impressed by the compassion he shows for everyone around him.
Dr. Moyana, born in Zimbabwe, loves spending time with his young family. He and his wife Edith, who is a graduate of Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine, have two beautiful little girls, Joy (born 2010) and Jada (born 2012). In his spare time he enjoys tennis, mountain biking, being active in his church, and participating in foreign medical missions. Before moving to the Phenix City area, Dr Moyana practiced in Birmingham, Alabama and served as an elder at The Church at Brookhills.
Dr. Kinsaul and Dr. Moyana have worked together on two mission trips; one to South Sudan and the other to southern India.
